Offering daily game drives into Addo Elephant National Park, 8 km away, this Colonial-style house has 2 outdoor pools. With free Wi-Fi, its stylish rooms are in thatched cottages in the garden. The breakfast was excellent. The sevice by Unathi (I hope I spelled his name right) and lelethu were great. So friendly, kind and considerate.

We absolutely loved our stay at Zuurberg, and cannot recommend the place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay near Addo Elephant Park. The surroundings of the property are gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and the property itself is also beautiful. Our bedroom looked just like the photos and was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Customer service was impeccable and we felt welcome and well looked after from arrival. Alexandra was superb and helped us not only with information about our stay but also with extra tips for our ongoing journey. All the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We also did a whole day game drive and an elephant encounter, both experiences organized by the property and both excellent. Zuurberg was fantastic and we look forward to coming back!

This tented apartment is a magical place closely situated to Addo elephant park and impressed us with its stunning and unobstructed views over the forest, the hot tube on the porch and the best breakfast coming in a little basket!

49 km from Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Longhill Lodge is a recently renovated property set in Addo and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The property is amazing, really spacious, cleaned everyday to a high standard. It has an amazing outdoor area with a Braai which we enjoyed using. It’s a great base location to visit Addo Elephant park which is an hour away. The lodge is secluded and you feel totally immersed in the beautiful surroundings, we walked in the mornings, saw lots of animals especially at night on the way back to the lodge. Safari’s are also available but we did these in Amakhala so just relaxed in the afternoons. There are a few nice restaurants in the local town if you want to eat out, if not the local spar is good. Providing garden views, Lupus Den Country House B&B in Sunland features accommodation and a garden. This 4-star bed and breakfast offers full-day security and room service. We had breakfast and dinner at Lupus Den. Both were delicious! Priscilla prepares everything herself and you can taste that she puts a lot of love and effort in her food. We had lovely conversations with her and can truly recommend her as a host. The location is great if you're visitint Addo and it offers some peace and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for.

Located 47 km from Addo National Elephant Park, Harmony Luxury Tented Camp offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. Private massive tent with great views from the porch. We unfortunately arrived in the rain and left in the rain, so the birdwatching I hoped for was a little dampened. Fortunate rain for all the animals plants and people of the bushveld tho! The owners are gracious and helpful - and such good cooks. Despite the downpours and wind, we slept warm and dry in our unique accommodation. Would love to visit again on a sunny day!
